The Search for Stimulation – understanding ADHD   Leave a comment

One of the problems in understanding the disorder is the limitations of the name, “attention deficit disorder”. It sounds like the person cannot pay attention. But people with ADHD can pay attention… if the subject is stimulating enough. So, if I were in charge of re-naming ADHD – I would call it the ” search for stimulation disorder (SSD)”.  This video will have valuable explanatory value in understanding the disorder and its treatment – with or without medication.
